Seeing glass paintings of the Shahmeran in Turkiye, I became intrigued by the story surrounding this powerful Queen and her lover, the King of Snakes. These clay pieces are my interpretation of the Shahmeran (Shah of Snakes), one of Turkiye's most enduring mythological figures.
