Before the Storm

This work uses the classic father-daughter trope, not as a staged representation of what a great relationship looks like - lots of white teeth and shiny hair for social media,  but as an exploration of universal themes of guidance and vulnerability. The looming, dark thunderclouds filling the sky represent impending uncertainty, while cycling to beat the storm together might suggest family bonds of trust and unquestioning reliance on a parent.
